Full Little 500 Lineup Set, Axsom Fastest Again In Final Practice

The starting field for the 76th Annual Little 500 Presented by UAW has officially been set after Bump Day qualifications on Friday.

A few drivers took the opportunity to improve their qualifying times, including Shane Butler (22nd-17th), Trey Burke (26th-25th) and Jerry Kobza (P33).  Two new entrants also made qualifying runs, Colin Grissom (P28) and John Inman (P34).

Race teams also took advantage of the final practice session before Saturday night’s Little 500, with 21 teams taking to the track for the one hour, 45-minute session.  Polesitter Emerson Axsom was once again on top of the board with a lap of 11.218.  Shane Hollingsworth, Caleb Armstrong, Logan Seavey and Donnie Adams Jr. rounded out the top-five.

The 76th Annual Little 500 Presented by UAW is tomorrow night, May 25th at 8:00pm.  Grandstand gates open at 3:00 for the Little 500 driver’s meeting, which is open to the public.  Teams will get a warm up session at 4:30, followed by an autograph session at 5:30.  Pre-race is slated to begin at 7:00, with the green flag set to wave at 8:00.

Tickets for the event are still available and are reserved seating only. All tickets are $45 and can be purchased online HERE or at the gate on Saturday.  The race will also be streamed live on DIRTVision.
