Schedule Update - Tony Elliott Classic

Anderson, Indiana (October 3, 2023): Anderson Speedway officials have amended Saturday, October 7 schedule. The 8th Annual Tony Elliott Classic schedule has changed due to forecasted cold temperatures. The race will now be an afternoon race starting at 3:00pm.  

 

The Tony Elliott Classic will be highlighted by the 500 Sprint Car Tour presented by Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Part Stores. The tour is in the final stretch of their 2023 season with tight points battle between Tyler Roahrig, Kody Swanson, and Kyle O’Gara. 25 sprint car teams have entered for Saturday’s event!

 

Also on the racing program are the Kenyon Midget Series, Thunder Roadsters, Legends, and Midwest Champ Karts. The Midwest Champ Karts will be competing in the John Ginder Memorial. 30 Karts have pre-entered the event.

 

Front gates open at 11:30am along with rotating practice being scheduled to begin. Qualifications are set for 1:30pm and the green flag is scheduled to fly at 3:00pm. Adult tickets for the event are $16, kids aged 6-12 are $5, and all kids 5 and under will be admitted for free. Fans can also watch the event live on MAVTV on Flo Racing here. 11:30am – Front Gates Open/Practice Begins

1:30pm – Qualifying - 500 Sprint Car Tour

2:30pm – Kenyon Midget Heat Races

3:00pm – Racing Begins
