ANDERSON, IN – Disappointment for Bobby Santos III with eight laps remaining gave Kody Swanson back to back wins in the Gene Nolen Classic.

In the fourth event of the year for the 500 Sprint Car Tour presented by Auto Value Bumper to Bumper stores Saturday at Anderson Speedway, Santos's mount ran out of fuel on a lap 93 restart which gave Swanson and the Mission Foods sponsored team the victory.

Gene Nolen's impact on racing is one that stretched into four decades. Winning was always his main focus but along the way he left lasting impressions on the people around him. However, more importantly he built lasting relationships. 

Seven Story Lines heading into the 2nd Annual CB Fabricating Gene Nolen Classic presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts.

The Second Annual CB Fabricating Gene Nolen Classic presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts is set for its July 8th date at Anderson Speedway. The event will be the fourth points earning race on the 2023 schedule for the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Parts 500 Sprint Car Tour.

At the conclusion of the Berlin Raceway June 10th event, 500 Sprint Car Tour officials took Left Rear tire samples from the top three finishers.

Kody Swanson stormed from his seventh place starting position, took the lead by lap five, and never looked back on his way to the 500 Sprint Car Tour feature victory at Toledo Speedway Sunday afternoon. It was Swanson’s first series victory of the season.

On Sunday, June 18th the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper 500 Sprint Car Tour will make their debut event at the famed Toledo Speedway in Toledo, Ohio. The event will also be the first time that the series based out of Anderson, Indiana has ever competed in the state of Ohio.

On Saturday, June 10th the 500 Sprint Car Tour presented by Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Parts Stores returns to Berlin Raceway for the first of two visits in 2023.

The 75th Annual Lucas Oil Little 500 presented by UAW is set to take place in its traditional Memorial Day Weekend slot on Saturday, May 27th. Running in consecutive years beginning in 1949, the Little 500 has become a mainstay in pavement short track racing and a tradition for families from all over the world.

On Wednesday, April 26th, just 31 days out from the 75th Annual Lucas Oil Little 500 presented by UAW, Anderson Speedway officials conducted their annual Little 500 press conference. The press conference marks the official beginning of Little 500 month and the start of the Little 500 Festival, held for 35 consecutive years to raise funds for Madison County charities. Heading into its 36th year, the Little 500 Festival has raised over $4 million for charity.

For the first time in many years Anderson Speedway will be hosting a non-wing sprint car race prior to the running of the Lucas Oil Little 500 presented by UAW.

As winter blossoms into spring, so blossoms a new racing season for the 500 Sprint Car Tour presented by Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Parts Stores. Racing season is officially here as the opening weekend for Anderson Speedway is also the first race on the 500 Sprint Car Tour’s 2023 schedule.
